About Me- Em Ingram
Em Ingram is a rising senior at NYU Gallatin School of Individualized Studies, originally from the East Bay Area, California.
At Gallatin, with a concentration on “Narrating The Anthropocene: Nature, Disposability, and Necropolitics,” Em explores environmental, political, post-colonial, and urban studies. They have also developed passions for multimedia journalism and ethnography.
Em is the News Director of WNYU, 89.1 FM, where they oversee broadcasting and curating news coverage and podcasts. For more on their journalistic interests see ‘Journalism’ tab.
Em recently completed Gallatin’s Urban Practice Fellowship, producing the surveillance technology tenant guide page on this site in collaboration with Right To The City Alliance. Also emerging from this opportunity is a short documentary on the relocation of the Oakland Athletics Baseball team that set to release in Spring of 2025.
